The TMR Mobile Repackaging System (MRS) is designed to allow the
opening, inspection, and sorting of 55-gallon hazardous waste drums.
Negative air pressures within the Drum Repacking and Waste Crate
Sections, maintains capture velocity airflow through the work openings
and protects personnel from contaminant exposure. A standard electro-hydraulic
drum carrier/rotator is used to position and lock each drum in place.
The Waste Crate Section is designed to accommodate standard Waste
Crates (48” x 48” x 84”). Field reports of ten-fold
increases in productivity have been documented over other repack
methodologies. The MRS is provided with the following general features:
| • The MRS is modular and transportable |
• Fire Suppression Systems available |
| • All component parts breakdown for passage through
standard doorways |
• HEPA filtered exhaust air connection
• Direct on-site job specific training available |
| • Stainless steel tube and sheet construction |
• Ventilation supplied from 750-1000 SCFM/Section |
| • Cavity free construction eliminates hazardous waste
hideout. |
• Ergonomic design of worker platform reduces
worker fatigue |
