Contaminated Waste Water Treatment

Radioactively contaminated water recovered from the TMR Hydrolasing Waste Stream Separator, or radioactively contaminated water from a customer’s process, can be decontaminated and recycled, or decontaminated as required to meet free release criteria. Various system designs can be configured depending upon the designed throughput, the characterized analysis, and the client’s design criteria. TMR Contaminated Waste Water Treatment Systems are normally designed to operate on a relatively small scale. The myth that a treatment system must operate with a high volume throughput and be facility shared to meet cost objectives is simply not true. TMR can design and deploy a cost effective treatment system sized to meet your needs.

TMR Contaminated Waste Water Systems offer many advantages, including but not limited to the following general areas:

• Proven Technology The waste treatment system components we deploy and operate have been used for many years in the nuclear power industry and are the highest quality components available on the market today.
• Off-The-Shelf Most component parts of our systems are readily available through our approved vendors or directly from our shop inventory.
• Ease of Maintenance All component parts are easily interchanged or repaired.
• Containment Where practical, we use CONEX - type containers to effectively enclose a radiological hazard area. Decontamination of tools and equipment within these structures is thus made possible.
• Transportability CONEX - type containers can be moved safely around the work site.
• Interface Connections We use standardized fittings for compatibility with customer connections.
• Minimize Worker Risks Since all operations are contained within engineered enclosures, workers exposure is minimized.
